WINTER COURSE

English Winter Course:

Notting Hill College Winter School program is tailored to improve children’s ability to communicate in English and it provides more of an academic focus. Each part of the program is designed to give students a chance to learn English through variety of interesting topics and themes. It also caters to students’ different learning styles and strategies, which they are still developing at this young age. They will work in pairs and communicate, across all four skills of language; Speaking and listening skills are still as important, but there is more work on writing and reading skills and practicing grammar.
There is a focus on the use of activities such as games, songs, projects and role-plays to engage children. These real life tasks are designed to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment in which the children feel comfortable and motivated to use English.

• Task-based work book to consolidate on newly learnt topic and to recap on already learnt points.
